Legal experience is measured not only in years, but in perspective.
J. Keith Pollette brings more than two decades of legal experience to his work with individuals, families, and businesses across Georgia.
His background includes substantial courtroom work, as well as more than a decade of service as a certified mediator and arbitrator.
That experience provides insight into how disputes unfold when they are not addressed early – and how many can be resolved thoughtfully before they become prolonged and costly.
Experience in litigation provides insight into how disputes unfold when they are not addressed early.
Experience in mediation offers a different perspective: many disputes can be resolved thoughtfully before they become prolonged and costly.
This dual perspective informs the firm’s philosophy. Clients receive guidance grounded in legal knowledge, informed judgment, and careful consideration of risks, costs, and long-term consequences.
The objective is not escalation, but informed and steady decision-making.
Mr. Pollette earned his Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, graduating in 2004 in the top 30% of his class.
He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Georgia, following earlier studies at Middle Georgia College.
He is admitted to practice law in the State of Georgia and before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia.
In addition to his litigation experience, he has served for more than a decade as a certified mediator and arbitrator.
In protracted litigation, there are rarely true winners – only mounting costs in time, money, and emotional strain.
For that reason, the firm emphasizes proactive planning, strong legal structure, early problem-solving, and practical resolution strategies.
When litigation becomes necessary, it is approached with preparation and steadiness.
When resolution is possible, it is pursued thoughtfully and responsibly.
